Its amazing to feel all better.  Life is truly beautiful again and I want to do and explore again.  Some amazingly wonderful and not so wonderful things have happened lately:  We had our first really big downpour.  It was intense and amazing and strong so strong.  It went like this, I was outside sleeping and woke up to look at the beautiful stars overhead and I could see flashes of distant light on the horizon and I decided to move into my room and have the fan on as always, it was hot.  Not but a half hour later, all hell or perhaps it was heaven broke loose and the rains fell like shattered glass.   It drummed on my tin roof so loud I had to cover my head with my pillow and I positioned myself to be able to look out the window to see the amazing flashes of lightning that screamed across the sky every five seconds.  The thunder boomed too and after exactly a half hour the rain started to let up to a gentle pitter patter, so light and comforting it was, and the thunder continued to rumble into the morning until it had to compete with the Mosque.  Storms here are awesome, intense and have so much incredible energy.
The very next day, it was slightly cooler, more humid, and green already starting to sprout.  I have dreams of my garden overflowing with water melon and Okra but unfortunately they will not come true because also with the rains comes so many new interesting and really disgusting bugs.  The bugs have multiplied ten fold its seems and in just one day!? Bugs, plants, and more birds are coming into being here it smells of spring and the oxymoron: wet sand.
Also though there has been some troubling smells of death: kids are throwing rocks at kittens, and toads are squashed under wheel as are donkeys and goats.  A bike ride to the nearest town leaves me gasping for breath because the smell of decomposing dead animal is horrific. Also their was a death.  One of the teachers I would have worked with next year died.  I did not know him well, met him only once; he was young and nice.  I will miss him.
But so yes things are going well for me lately.  Since getting better and the promise of rain the days are really good, still a roller coaster but always they seem to end on beautiful notes of new friends and ideas that have wondered into my life.

I love you all and thanks for all your support.  Check out my pictures OK!
