A warm, humid air hit us as we got off the plane. It felt like a mild sauna. I am actually quite enjoying the climate, let's see how we feel in two weeks' time!

I was warned about the high prices and greedy Indians in Nadi who want to take all your money but everyone has been lovely and I don't feel as we have been ripped off! It will probably take some days to get used to Fiji time - everything seems to go at a slower pace here. We spent three hours talking to a nice, very talkative lady booking ferries to see the beautiful islands of Fiji. Apparently there are over 300 of them, more sometimes pop up to the surface and Mel Gibson owns one. Well, it's great everything is fast and efficient back in Northern/Western Europe...

We will be island hopping for the next two weeks.

you are doing a great trip, I am so envious. A 'tour du monde' like this I cannot imagine that but you are giving me ideas.
