Took a 5-hour bus trip from Picton to Christchurch. Argh. Buses in New Zealand are nowhere near as comfortable or good as in Chile or Argentina. No toilet, TV or air conditioning. I felt sick, hot, sweaty and needed to pee most of the five hours. Will not do that again. The driver made up for it tho, he was one more super friendly Kiwi.   

Christchurch is my favourite city in New Zealand so far. Had a lovely day kayaking, eating good food, watching the street artists and wondering the pretty buildings and plants.
