One of the things we did for The Trail is the Thing South East Asia was to compile a kind of "Favourites list" at Day 100. We did this in order to answer some of the questions we were getting via email from family and friends.

This trip is much shorter, but here is something similar, "The 60 Day Seventeen."

1. Favourite City: A toss up between Antigua, Guatemala and Granada, Nicaragua
2. Cheapest Beer: 22 cordobas for a whole litre most everywhere in Nicaragua
3. Best Beer thus far: Victoria
4. Most exhillarating moment: The eruption of Volcano Pacaya
5. Best meal: Middle Eastern in Panajachel
6. Most unique local dish eaten: Iguana y pinol on Ometepe in Nicaragua
7. Worst bus ride: Tica bus from San Salvador to Managua
8. Best value hostel: Colcibolca in Granada and La Casa Amarilla in Antigua
9. Most relaxing spot: Floating in an inner tube at Laguna de Apoyo
10. Number of bottles of hot sauce acquired: 11 and counting!
11. Favourite little known city: Las Juntas, Costa Rica
12. Best cigar thus far: Sultan robusto with maduro wrapper
13. Number of bottles of Flor de Cana rum consumed by Pablo thus far: Five and a half
14. Kate's new favourite drink: Camino Real Tequila con jugo de naranja
15. Cheapest drinks period: 2 mojitos or 2 cuba libras for 10 cordobas (about 70 cents)
16. Favourite market: Solola, Guatemala
17. Best wildlife experiences: Charco Verde, Ometepe
