The main reason we chose it is because it is only about three hours from Bangkok and frankly we are exhausted from overland travel!
We are enjoying a beautiful beach (white sand with smooth boulders) and doing nothing much but lazing around the beach and the pool with gin and tonics!
We really are both pretty battered and bruised from the past four months (the Cambodian trip to the border caused my back to flare up and Paul's shoulder is completely gone...he will most certainly require surgery when we get home, so anyone with orthopod recommendations, please get them ready!)
We have to say that this is the first time in the entire trip where time seems to be dragging a bit and we are really looking forward to getting home. You all must be getting tired too, since the hits at travelpod this month are way down compared to the previous three months. We promise more and better photos when we get there!
In any case, we look forward to visiting with Jamie and Rita back in Bangkok next weekend before we head to Singapore and ready for the long flight home. We can't wait to see you all in June1
