Well, all of the planning is coming together and it seems real now that our arms are sore on a regular basis!

It's true...although we don't depart for five months yet, we have started our inoculations. Tetanus, Diphtheria and Polio boosters have been completed. We have had a Typhoid vaccine. Next week we start two three shot series for Japanese Encephalitis and Rabies. Then we have only a TB skin test and flu shot to get in the new year. We've been provided with various prescriptions such as Cipro and of course our anti-malarial of choice, Malarone.

We have already learned a great deal and simply cannot wait to hit the trail!
