Chairlifts and chocolate

The drive to Bariloche was probably the most scenic of the tour yet. It's known as the 7 lakes drive and has lots of beautiful lakes (!) and snow capped mountains. We stopped at a bridge and a few of us jumped off into the river which was absolutely freezing!!
Bariloche itself was a very pretty town, originally founded by Swiss settlers, and is famous for its chocolate so I made sure I sampled some. Sadly we only had one day here but I went up one of the many chair lifts for stunning views across the countryside (more lakes, mountains etc) and had a wander around town. More thumbnails ...
