The best Christmas ever!!!

On the way to our beach side campsite for Christmas we stopped at a shopping mall which was very surreal - my first proper shopping experience for a long time. As I was in the xmas day cook group we had to do the supermarket shopping and I had to follow someone to their taxi in order to get a shopping trolley which was rather odd!! As it was a long drive we free camped in a beautiful spot which looked a lot like moon valley - the ground was really crunchy!! The next day we had a short drive to Bahia Inglesa and set up camp before beginning the Christmas celebrations. We had budget Olympics which included an egg & spoon race, three legged race and dance off - a very funny way to spend xmas eve! We had a big fire in the evening which was really good. On Christmas day itself I helped to make proper English xmas dinner and I even made stuffing from scratch! We did have meat done on a spt though which was great. After dinner we had a few drinks and another fire. Overall it was a fab xmas.
