We cheated. Everyone else followed the cue sheet for an 85 mile day with 6000 ft of climbing. We consulted with Dan's dad and used the google maps machine to create our own route from A to B. We went "unsupported" which they brainwash you into believing is a very bad idea. In the end, it was completely worth it since our route was 14 miles shorter and featured an astonishing 2000 less feet of climbing. We were a little hush-hush about our plans so I think most people were surprised when we were the first ones into the second SAG stop.

Our ride was gorgeous. I love New Hamphshire. More on that later.

Tonight we had a very extended final evening celebration. We had a video and a lot of speeches and everything else. It took a long time and now I'm too tired to write. Sorry.

In other news, Scott's friend Jacob from elementary school is now living in the area and he came up to the hotel to visit. He's a really nice kid and he's hilarious. He visited Gordon two years ago as a perspective student the same weekend Scott came up to visit me and neither knew the other would be there. I had a lot of fun that weekend showing them around campus.

Tomorrow... the Atlantic!

You are currently peddling your way to your final destination. I am thinking about the myriad of emotions you all must be experiencing. I remain ever proud of you three and your commitment to this trek. It has been a privilege to pray you across the country. Can't wait to see all the pictures you have taken and hear more of the stories you did not print. I love all three of you guys and am so grateful you have had this experience together. :-) Aunt Martha
