Last Saturday I got to take some Senior Pictures for one of Laurel's best friends, Hannah. I had a ton of fun, and she was great to work with. A few weeks ago in Boston, my dad brought me a flash that I had purchased off of Craigslist Columbus while down here, and I got to try out some new stuff using the second off camera flash during this session. The last time I took senior pics, it was for Luke Shomo, and my pics of Hannah are about a million times better than those I took of Luke, so I'm proud of my improvements.

The setting for the pictures was some of the old hotels and cathedrals in downtown Oaxaca, and it really got me wishing Westerville wasn't quite so... boring. I'll have to check with Hannah before I plaster pictures of her up all over the internet, but if she's OK with it, I'll post some of the better pictures on here for you to look at.

I know this was a short update, but - I'm leaving in 20 minutes to go hike up a 10,000 ft mountain with 6 other guys, and we're going to camp and make mexican food over a fire, and sleep under the stars.... so expect a blog about that soon as well.

Also, the thermometer in the mirror of the Suburban read 101 when we got in after school at 3:00... so the weather's not quite as dreamy as it was when I got down here... but Mexico is hot, I'll learn to deal with it :-)

Much love,
