One of the coolest parts of the flight was the touchscreen computers in the back of all the headrests. I spent most of the flight playing games (Luxor), learning basic Thai phrases and vocab words (uh oh, I forgot them all ;-) choosing feature films to watch, watching scrubs, listening to Asian Hit-list Radio, and the coolest part, watching the plane's position move across a satellite image map, while flipping between video camera's mounted on the front and bottom of the plane, and checking real time flight info, such as windspeed, groundspeed, altitude, and distance traveled
When I looked at the map and saw that the plane I was sitting in was halfway between America and the Far-East it really hit me that this really isn't Kansas anymore.
Also, I've got 24kg worth of carry-on bags, and the limit is 7kg, so we can keep that our dirty little secret.
If you're reading all of these posts, you're either really bored, or really excited about my trip... They're not good, and I know that... I apoligize agian... they will get better I promise. I'm just trying to write it down so I don't forget my thoughts (don't they call that journaling)?
