Let's face it, I love the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. Any trip to Seattle wouldn't be complete without a visit to Port Angeles, Forks, and LaPush. Tuesday morning we rented a car and drove north to Edmond. We took a car ferry to Kingston and then drove to Port Angeles. We saw Bella Italia, the restaurant where Edward and Bella had dinner. We visited the bookstore and a Twilight souvenir shop. We had lunch at a local restaurant, Haven.

Then we continued on to Forks. At the visitor center we saw Bella's red pickup truck and got a map of the local sites. We saw the high school, Bella's house, the Cullens house, the hospital, and the police station.  The town of Forks is playing along with all of the tourists, so it's a fan-friendly place. There's a parking space at the hospital for Dr. Cullen. The bed and breakfast that is the Cullen's house has the Cullen name on the mailbox and a daily note from Esme at the front door. We even had a brief chat with the owner of the B&B!

As we continued on to LaPush, we saw a sign for the "treaty line" indicating no vampires beyond that point. And we got a view of 2nd beach!

That night we drove back to Port Angeles and had dinner at Bella Italia, although we skipped the mushroom ravioli! After dinner we drove back to the Kingston to catch the ferry boat. After a long day of driving and sightseeing, we crashed at the hotel.
