We arrived in Ottawa yesterday after a seven and a half hour flight from Heathrow and went straight to the Jail Hostel.  I knew this was a jail but I was not at all prepared for sleeping in a cell complete with bars on the doors and no windows! 

So, after a nights sleep it was on to Esprit.  The pick up was at 7am so we had to get up pretty early.  We were taken to Albert's where we were dropped off and our driver met up with the day's rafting trip.  It was nice to see some of the guides again - there were hugs from Alan and Frank and a lot of "Hello do do you remember me?"  conversations with the others.

We hung around Albert's for a while eating a sausage (ona stick no less...) until we were finally picked up and taken to Davidson.  We're just sitting in the bar now waiting for our room to be ready so that we can go and unpack, repack and whatever else we need to do.   (Proably sleep...but I'm too excited!)
