Just a quick entry because I want to fit the London Eye in before I meet a friend for dinner.
I am having a wonderful time traveling so far. I was in Edinburgh for 2 nights/3 days and will be here in London for a total of 3 nights/4 days.
The hostel in Edinburgh was fabulous. The hostel here in London is the worst I've ever been to in my life. There was a dead bug on my mattress when I arrived!
Anyway, I am experiencing the best and worst of solo travels and am constantly amazed at how cool Europe is turning out to be. I cannot wait for Paris where I am meeting up with a friend from my study abroad program. And then on to Cap-D to meet ma mere!

Bed bugs in Picadilly? Bummer! Be sure to post a comment on the hostel review page. I read through several and it sounds like not to many people have enjoyed their stay though all concede the location is great.
By the way - your travel map does not include your trip to Edinburgh.
