And She Returns to Belfast...

Hi friends and family!
I am back in Belfast, Northern Ireland for three weeks. I am staying at Queen's dorms to do my independent study project. My topic is the connections between violence and poverty in the unionist/loyalist communities of Belfast. I got to Belfast yesterday and have been settling into my single, which I enjoy very much. Especially the communal toilet you have to reach into the water-filled tank to flush... I knew I was back on a college campus when within a few hours I was already being invited to a toga party. Long live the institution that is the toga party!
Unfortunetly I left my adaptor and such in Dublin so this will be a short entry as my laptop needs to conserve energy. Just wanted to let everyone know I am safe and sound, despite my blogging absence.
