Just bought my textbooks on Amazon, I hope they come soon. I have to read four books before the program starts. I'm not even halfway through the first one...I also bought Lonely Planet's Europe on a Shoestring. Combined with my cousin Will's Ireland books I should be all set.
My cousin Alison reminded me about personal travel websites and I thought it would be a great way to stay in touch with family and friends while I'm in Europe. So I hope you check in every once in a while and enjoy hearing about my travels!
I can't wait to get to Ireland but I'm really nervous too. I've been abroad before but never to study, for so long, and without friends. Hopefully at the end of the trip I will see some friends though. I know people throughout the UK and have family friends in Monaco, which I've always dreamed of visiting. I'm trying to convince my mom to fly to Provence for the week of our birthdays but we'll see if she follows through.
Well that's it for now. I'm sure more information will be coming in as the takeoff day gets closer. Thanks for reading and supporting me as I prepare to take on europe!
