We got some rain in the morning and were less than inspired to go explore outdoors, and also not up for being cooped up inside Rover, so we went to Moab for breakfast at the Jailhouse Café - delicious. The rain tapered off while we ate, afterwards we checked out some petroglyphs.

Then headed for Goblin Valley State Park where we found another great campsite not far outside the park complete with goblin-like formations. Next morning we ventured into Goblin Valley (formerly called mushroom valley – most of them look like mushrooms, but it’s more fun to think
about being surrounded by goblins). We had fun letting our imaginations get away with us and took about a million pictures. Some of the red dirt they’re made of is pretty soft and seems like they would erode pretty quickly, we imagined being there in a rainstorm and seeing the goblin heads roll down to the valley floor.
