. Next day went to a hotel sat at the pool and had few drinks adn soaked up the sun then out for dinner that night which was a lovely meal, just a pitty about the company loads of Irish..... Went to another bar club scene which for Joel and I was the first nightclub since Australia 3.5 months ago so it was quite a shock to our system, but we coped we tried our best to blend in.... A friend of the girls Neil I am sorry to say we lost all respect for but perserverance does pay folk. His ex-girlfriend / girlfriend whatever lord Neil you have stuck in there man. This guy has to pay $100 for a facial when he goes golfing to keep her happy and behind the closed doors of the bedroom well lets not go there I cant say on this site but poor man. We had a few drinks here till 1am then Joel and I had to leave as we had to drive at 530am in morn but we had such a good time we are gonna be back. Boys I hope you see the photo Joel did the cup with his hand on the way home for you.
Well an old friend from back home Alison was leaving Palm Desert to return home to the green pastures of home so Joel and I jumped inthe car drove 439 miles to Palm Desert to say goodbye to her and meet up with Noreen, for an old pint. We arrived at Palm Desert to Noreen at the hotel were there was our Noreen drink in hand and a cigarette, some things will never change. Walked upto the door and out runs Alison big hug then says are you ready for a drink so in we go meet there boss to what I repy to him "whats the craic" Noreen reminded me you don't say that in America, doesn't quite mean the same as back home. Well a few drinks later then back to there flat changed and hit the town. Drink was flowing and the craic was great. It was just class being with Irish folk again say what you want they understand and slagging was great. Met loads of ones we didn't know but I am sure they will remember us. Played poker till 4 am in the morning after finally making it home Alison was left to look after us considering she was the drunkest probably not the best idea anyone had, but sure the walk did us good till Noreen found us on a street corner
