WOW, we are back in Arlington VA and the world is exactly as we left it. Amazing. Our niece, Bella, is bigger and more talkative and our new nephew, William, is beautiful. However the rest of the world just went on without us.

There are a few things I need to get used to now being back in the USA. Here is a list of some of those things both good and bad:

1. Being able to drink water from the tap
2. Not having to shower with flip flops on
3. Putting TP into the toilet and not the trash
4. Not saying things in Spanish to Americans
5. Having a fridge
6. Not living out of one bag
7. Not wearing the same shirt 3 days in a row
8. Showering everyday!! Yeah
9. Hot water on demand!!!!!!!!!!
10. Expensive meals
11. Expensive coffee
12. Expensive everything
13. Trying to drive after 5 months
14. The bus schedule is impossible to figure out here
15. Talking to people on the phone
16. Nobody selling food on every corner
17. No currency conversions in our heads

More to come as we settle into life back in the USA...but not for long we are already looking into flights for the next leg of our trip.

We are going to compile all of our expenses and publish it for others to use as a guide in their planning so check back soon.

Cheers
Frank

You guys rock
Arlington welcomes you back! :)

Yes, we moved on without you - but not really. Our favorite part of your travels are still those times when you come back to rehydrate, use our hot water, and spend time having fun will all of us :)
