We made a quick stop here to catch the ferry to Livingston. Our bus pulled up and there was a lively man holding a sheet of paper with our names on it. He was making sure the ferry did not leave without us. Immigration was really easy and only cost $7.50 US per person to leave the country.

We waited 10 minutes and boarded the ferry. The ferry is actually a twenty foot launcha with three rows of benches and a 75 horsepower outboard motor. The 1:15 rough ride through whitecaps and watersprays cost $17.50 US each. The water was so rough that we had to stayed covered under a plastic tarp for the entire ride and we still got soaked.

It is just another part of the adventure and we made it safe and sound.
