We are wrapping up our holiday vacation in California. I have been out here for 2 weeks, visiting my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandma. Frank joined me on Christmas day and we spent the next few days relaxing and occaisionally playing tourist and getting ready for our world journey. We had a great time visiting with my family and will really miss them a lot!

Tommorow we head off to Cancun, Mexico! We don't have a plan, and don't even have a hotel/hostel room booked! We planned to book it online, but kept procrastinating. Now we've discovered that it's too late to book online, so we are going to cross our fingers and hope to find a vacancy upon arrival.

Our plan (if you can call it that!) is to stay 1 night in Cancun then either head south towards Belize or west towards Valladoid/Merida/Campeche. Check back to find out where we end up!
