I was at work not actually working because I was chatting on AIM. A friend of mine that I didn't really know that well IM's me asking "Hey, Wanna go to WMC today for a few days?". As my heart races, I said "Hell yeah!"

Winter Music Conference (WMC) is a yearly event in South Beach, Miami, Florida. For a week straight, thousands of dance music lovers from across the global celebrate the passion for the music genre. Throughout the week, South Beach is booming with music everywhere you go. A Pizzeria playing house music, beaches packed with beautiful people, streets filled with the fastest cars, clubs in every corner playing music all week long, and the crowd is simply having the best time of their lives.

I drive over to my friends house that same night before leaving. We picked up a few more people. Total of 5 of us (3 females, 2 males) in a old Dodge Neon driving for 24 hours from New Jersey to Florida. At first I thought this wouldn't be so bad but a few hours into it, it was like a nightmare! Gas ended up costing the same as a flight! Eventually we got there safely.
