For the most part everything is moving along smoothly (Read first post if you don't know what I'm talking about). Preparation has been difficult but my dedication has proven I can do anything. I've decided I wanted to stay in warm climates year round so depending on month I'm leaving, I'll be going to a warm climate somewhere on the other side of this planet traveling as the weather changes. Some of the benefits are: I can't really get sick in the heat, less clothing to carry, beaches (of course), more activities, etc.

I've sold so many things already. The more I sold, the more complete I felt. Craigslist has helped me sell so much. I get many emails and phone calls from strangers picking up the many things I'm selling. It's going to take awhile to sell everything since I have so much junk. In selling everything, I've officially retired from being a DJ as well. I'll stick to downloading podcasts and mixes for now to keep me up to speed with new releases. In the past I just HAD to get every release ever made in regard to house music. I just don't have the time and energy anymore. My mind is too set on this trip.

My first backpack trip will be Montreal, Canada for 5 days. This will be a test run on having backpacking experience. I have a separate blog for this trip and can be seen HERE. Last weekend I bought a few things at Campmor to get ready for this and try out my new products before my more intensive trip. I bought a Eagle Creek Explorer LT($230) backpack, Vasque Men's wide Breeze Gortex XCR Lightweight Hiking Boots($125), and some really comfy socks($8). Pretty costly but considering I'll be living out of these products for months, it's well worth the investment. Next I'm considering a laptop. A reason for this is to continue blogging, upload pictures, and make phone calls in Skype to family. I'm still undecided but if I were to buy one it's going to be the Asus EEE laptops. Extremely small laptops and real cheap, can't ask for more.

For anyone that's reading this entry in Facebook, follow the link to my main blog if your bored. Everytime I update my blog on travelpod, it will post it on facebook so you all know where I am on this planet.
