We did things in the right order, it seems. Spent the cloudy day yesterday out walking around, spent the sunny day today getting a tan by the pool.

Other than that, one last fine breakfast delivered to my room, and likely a nice dinner tonight somewhere (maybe the hotel, maybe the restaurant next door), today will be end of our fine stays in 4-star hotels. After this, it will be an apartment in South America, buying groceries, and waking up for hourly weather checks starting at 6 am. Oh, and let's not forget all the upcoming hassle of putting PXL through customs and military inspections (there will be three). And, our two coworkers who are there already are departing a mere 2 days after we arrive, so we are madly trying to think of every question that needs to be asked so we don't forget anything. I hate quick changeovers.

But that's for tomorrow. Tonight, I plan to relax and rest as much as possible, and then we are planning the transpacific crossing to Ecuador tomorrow morning.
