Michelle did an awesome impersonation of Brian for part of their group skit, and then they re-enacted a scene from the pool with Pablo as the police stalking the O2O's, and had Vittorio running around dressed as Stefano saying "cappucino", it was hilarious
Now, back to the crazy honker. When last we left him, he had stormed off after the wedding with the dog and wife, to who knows where. Well, it wasn't too long before he was back, and we ran in to him walking his dog. Somehow during the week he and I ended up chatting . He doesn't speak English, and I don't speak Italian, so it was one of those conversations! He would say something in Italian, and I would answer in Spanish. It worked fine, and we were able to make out the basics. It turns out he has a gorgeous garden back behind the hotel, and one day he gave me some fresh figs to try, which were lovely, A day or two later we passed again, and I told him how much I had enjoyed them and thanked him for the fruit. I was on my way to a group session, but he literally took me by the arm and insisted I come to the garden, where he showed me all the different trees and fruits, and loaded me up with figs and plums to take with me. He was such a sweet man, I was glad I got the chance to talk to him and not just think of him as the "crazy honker".
And so we come to the end of another week! Fabulous food, great conversations (like Pablo wanting to be a fly on the wall at the girls' table, to find out if we really sit around rating guys all the time...so of course we did for his benefit!), lots of laughs, beautiful scenery, hot weather, a swimming pool...what more can you ask for? Though it did have it's fair share of drama. From broken limbs, casts and surgery, to dating drama, questionable sanity of participants, and random acts of inappropriateness! But it all adds to the excitement in the end I suppose. Kudos to Pablo and Brian for making the week seem so effortless, despite Pablo spending half the week at the hospital, and Brian holding down the fort at the hotel. And to everyone who was there, thanks for your part in making it another memorable week for me!
*and a special thanks to Brian, for copying his pics for me once again! Most of the shots that are posted from the week are his :)
