Things are finally beginning to be resolved from my purse getting stolen. It has been over 3 weeks now, but I have managed to get my hands on one of my debit cards (after about $100 in shipping fees!), one credit card number (still have to work on getting the actual card in Spain), and my passport! Hooray!! So I am just about back in business. And just in time to fly to Rome on Friday too. I still have a few things to work out, but this is a good start at least.

I would like to take a minute to say again, thank you so much to everyone who has helped out these last weeks. There are so many people who have done so much. From emotional and financial support, to providing copies of photos, lending everything from credit cards to phones, sending packages, sorting out Spanish phone calls, sending me supportive emails... the list goes on and on. Hopefully I have said thank you to each one of you individually, but if not please believe you have my heart felt thanks. I have been truly moved by all that has been done for me during this ordeal.

Anyways, on to other things! I have survived week 2 with the family, it has been lots of fun. The kids are great, full of energy and ideas. And they are still at the age where they have not become jaded, or too "cool". Last night the 2 boys who are 10 years old (one has his friend staying for a week) got out of the bath, got dressed up, put on cologne and sunglasses and posed like models and had me take pictures of them! So cute. They are leaving for the beach on Tuesday, so it will be pretty quiet here for a few days before I leave for Rome.

Other than that, I have been in to Madrid a few times, done some shopping (finally!), caught up with a few more people that are back in town, and of course relaxed in the sun. All in all my job is really easy and fun, so I am having a great time. Though it will be nice to have a week in Italy speaking English all the time!!
