Hello, I guess more than just my friends are reading this, so when I have time I'll put up more group shots. From of all us, we were so happy to sleep in today! We didn't have to meet until 10 am. Showering was a bit scary for me. Holly and I snuck up to the 3rd floor to find a shower. The one on our floor had a German dude singing loudly. We were so happy to find one, but there wasn't a toilet in there. I held the room while she left  and some guy opened the door. I hadn't figured out the lock... We went to another bathroom to do our makeup. It was so weird to get ready next to men, not alone ones that don't speak English.

Breakfast was room tempurature milk, ceral, ham, cheese, and crossiants (if you were up early enough to grab them) and coffee with stuff floating in it. Professor Opar says the floating particles haven't killed anyone yet. Angela's and my stomache beg to differ...

After breakfast we went on a boat ride of the town. We were expecting to hear romantic tales of long ago about the bridges and buildings and instead heard where they drowned the prostitutes in cages under the bridge.. It was nice to be on the boat, but I slept through part of it. The most annoying thing was the Italian dude standing up and camcording the whole thing. There are some cool buildings along the river. The camera happy Italian dude yelled at a homeless man's dog under a bridge for barking at us. Poor dog, his life already sucks belonging to a homeless dude, let him bark!

After that we had free time till 7. Most of us had a nice sit down dinner in an outdoor cafe. Nicole and I enjoyed the worlds smallest roasted chicken and fries. Our first meal not doused in sauce or grease! Quiche was a popular choice too. I think everyone ate for under 15 euros. After that everyone split up. Some went shopping, some hung out at the cathedral, some got caught up in the gay parade. Heather and I even bought an interesting item from a Bachelor party and had to compete in an obstacle course with him. He was dressed up in a dress one second with a fifth of whiskey and a soccer uniform with a wig the next. We ended up doing push ups in front of the cathedral.. crazy place! The public toliets have open doors, so when you walk by you can see the guys peeing. eewww

We all noticed people being more affectionate here and kissing and holding hands. We never really saw that in Germany. On the otherhand we heard people honking and being pushy. There were kids everywhere too. Germans tend to put their kids somewhere, but they were out in full force in France.

For supper we had pork, fries and flan. Flan is bad and makes me angry.
