After arriving in the UK, I negotiated the Tube, bought a sandwich, and took a train to Leicester. There, waiting for me with hugs and kisses was English Dan, who I know from school back in California.

Dan and I went to London for a night and saw Kristen, who I also know from California, and is in England for veterinary school. I guess it's cheaper? than in the states? whatever. She talks like Mary Poppins now. No, wait, she talks like the chimney sweeper in Mary Poppins. Actually she talks like an American trying to talk like the chimney sweeper in Mary Poppins. I was very disappointed.
