We arrived in JNB on a Zambian Airways flight coming from Livingstone, Zambia. We are fortunate to have family and were met by my Uncle. He helped us rent a mobile phone for the week and then we set off for their home in Pretoria. We spent the first night here.
The next day we set off for our first outing to a private game reserve just north of Pretoria and near the town of Bela-Bela or Warmbaths. The name of the reserve is called Mkaikai. It is a lovely place. Our room was ensuite with a lovely view of the reserve. It also had a bathtub, which Isabella loved. She took two baths in a span of 24 hours.
As soon as we arrived we set out for a game reserve. We were quite fortunate to see a group of rhino's. They were within 100 feet of us, so we all had a great view. We several buffulo, kudo, impala, giraff  and wildebeasts. As the day was becoming night, it became very cold. We quickly returned to the house to find a roaring fire. We enjoyed a delicious Braai put on by my Uncle and Aunt.
The next day we stopped in warmbaths to enjoy the thermal pools. Isabella was thrilled that she could go swimming. They have several pools here, some very warm. They also have some waterslides and a river ride, where you ride on an inner tube down a river. They also had several fast food places and a  Spars restaurant. After spending 4 hours here, we left to go find a restaurant. We ended up eating at a place called Nando's, which serves a lot of chicken. It was good, as we were quite hungry. We then returned to the house in Pretoria.
