Day 42 to 45 (July 20th - 23rd) Mendoza, Argentina
Our tour involved 2 vineyards and a olive making factory. At the first vineyard there was a large museum of old wine making equipment, including an antique grape squashing device made of leather that needed 2 people to manually squash the grapes.
On one of our nights we checked out the nightlife in Mendoza with a couple of Brazilians and a couple of American siblings. The nightlife doesn´t start untill 2 in the morning, so it was quite a late night (at least for us old geezers).

Mendoza is wine country in Argentina, and is world famous for Malbec wine. Naturally we thought it would be rude of us not to go on a wine tour. Our tour involved 2 vineyards and a olive making factory. 600 gram bife de chorizo
Our plan for leaving Mendoza was to go over the Andes to Santiago to go snowboarding and for Andrea to check out the road user charging system (we're not joking), however, the heavy downfall of snow on the Chilean side stopped that idea. Instead, we had to head north where there was less snow.
