Day 2
Having had a somewhat interrupted nights sleep in the camp ground thanks to some random yelling at 3 in the morning, we set off again back to the festival site.
The acts we caught that day were:
Babyshambles - no show for Pete Doherty ... perhaps not the biggest surprise in the world. Air Traffic (who played yesterday) were in their place.
My Morning Jacket - Nice to listen to while relaxing in the sun
Jay-Z - Only heard parts in the background
The Verve - ditto
Although you wouldn't pick it given the way he was rocking all over the place, he is now a stately 62.
Moby Live: Remixed - A lively set with a bit of mix of the old and the new. A good way to end a great day.

Group shot
While having our dinner, we starting talking the group next to us, who as it turns out were part of the Rock Werchter crew responsible for directing people and managing the tent sites. Several (free) beers later, we had made some great (Belgian) friends and remained a highlight of our time at Rock Werchter. The acts we caught that day were:

Neil Young10
Neil Young - Absolutely the highlight of the festival, a living legend! With such an extensive and diverse back catalogue, he certainly didn't disappoint the crowd with songs like "Love and only love", "Fucking up" and "Mother Earth". A pity he didn't play our wedding song of "Harvest Moon", but hey, you can't be too greedy.Although you wouldn't pick it given the way he was rocking all over the place, he is now a stately 62.
