Sep 22nd 2007 to Sep 24th Sep 2007 - Edinburgh, Scotland
As Andrea didn't have tickets for the Scotland game, only Fraser went up to Edinburgh to see the All Blacks play Scotland where he caught up with an old work colleague of his (Anna).
Walking around it was plain that there were plenty of All Black supporters out that night, and it really did seem as though the town was "painted black".
Next day, the game didn't start till 5 so there was plenty of chance for me to walk around and explore the city. Edinburgh is a great city to walk around with it's medieval charms, although it can be a touristy at times to say the least.
The game itself went pretty well to expectations. Scotland put out what was effectively a B side, so the All Blacks won comfortably 0-40. A few great tries, but it never looked like Scotland would provide an upset and beat the All Blacks for the 1st time in history.

Haggis & Whisky - Could it be more Scottish?
After a long train trip up from London, I filled up on Haggis and Whisky, and we headed out into the New Town where we found somewhere to eat, drink and watch one of the pool games on (Argentina who comfortably beat Namibia 63-3).Walking around it was plain that there were plenty of All Black supporters out that night, and it really did seem as though the town was "painted black".
Michael and Anna
The night finished for me at one of the many pubs on Royal Mile with wee dram of Laguvilin (nice!) before I headed off to the hostel.Next day, the game didn't start till 5 so there was plenty of chance for me to walk around and explore the city.
