At this point, we all parted ways. Chantal and Andrea went back to London, and Fraser carried on the way to Lyons.

Les Arenes

 In between I stopped off at Nimes to explore around the town and see one of the main attractions there, Les Arenes, a Roman ampitheathre built in AD100

The arena is still used for bull fighting, and indeed there was fight scheduled for the next day. Fortunately though, I was able to walk around for an hour before the preparations started and it closed up.
