After a seriously long drive (and an overnight stop in Bordeaux) we arrived in the afternoon to Nantes. This was our first chance to see Canada in action.

The match proved to be very entertaining, unless that is you were a Wales supporting. With Canada leading half time with some well deserved tries, Wales looked completely lost at sea. Fortunately for them a few timely substitutions proved to be the catalyst for a final win.

Later we went into the city for a few drinks and to watch the other games on that day. Following Phil's discovery of a rugby ball and the streets of Nantes full of Welsh supporters, somehow we decided it would be a "good" idea to play street rugby. Kind of like the EA sports Playstation game, except that it hurts a hell of a lot the next day.

As it turns out Phil's shoulder injury would rule him out of playing in any of the remaining All Black matches.
