National Zoo and Aquarium

Stu and I booked to go on the 'Zoo Venture' 2 hour tour of the National Zoo and Aquarium.
We got to feed the Otters, a Lion, a Tiger, Cougars, Tigon (half Lion, half Tiger - the only one in captivity).... it was really cool.... and a bear licked Honey from our hands, and we got to handle a Boa Constrictor. The only down side was the Zoo was very 'safety cautious'... the keeper held you hand and every feeding (no joke) which was a let down when Stu and I have walk side by side with the King of Beasts! But it was a good experience if you have never been to Africa etc. Photos to follow...... More thumbnails ...
