What a wonderful day we have had.....
During the first feed Stuart picked the 'Lady in Red' and she casually said to him "So you are Stuart, I will talk to you afterwards!"...... Stuart crapped himself with worry!!
But all was well.... my mum and dads best friends (Anne and Dave) had warned me that Dave's Brother and their family were coming to Monkey Mia.
We chatted with Debbie and the others for a bit, and then during the second feed I thought 'what the hell... I will pick the lot of them to feed the dolphins.... I first picked Hannah, then someone else, then I picked Tom, then someone else and then I picked Debbie (they were all over the moon).
They missed the third feeding (which was so funny as the pelican attacked us all and nicked our fish!) as they went out on the Aristocat 2, they saw Whales, Dolphins, Dugongs and visited the Pearl Farm... they had a wonderful time.
We all then went for a coffee and had a fantastic chat about 'back home'.
David - you are your brother are so alike, full of the same silly jokes, the same mannerisms, the same nose and hands.... very strange, it was as if you were here with us!
Hannah and Tom are lovely kids, they went snorkelling with Steve and found crabs, a sea slug and fish... they had a real fun time.
Anne and Dave - It was so lovely meeting your family, they took some pictures of us and said they will forward them to you to pass to us.
So overall, we had a really lovely day.
