Perth City and Kings Park

Today we got the train into Perth City, we walked around the town for a bit up to Kings Park and Botanical Gardens (which was very lovely).... it is located on the top of a hill looking over Perth... very nice views - and a steep climb!!
We had a lovely day, it was very hot and sunny... and the Aussies think this is too cold for this time of year - they are mad! At the park you find the WA State War Memorial, it is lovely. Below the actual memorial you find all the names of those who died during the World War.... there are far too many names for my liking! More thumbnails ...
