Paul and I played golf this morning against two of our Scottish hosts (George and David) at the Nairn Golf Club (the posh course). After discussing our handicaps, George and David felt that giving the Americans 10 strokes would make for a fair match. That would have been the case if Paul and I had played to our handicaps. Paul shot about 10 strokes below his handicap which won the majority of the holes. Unfortunately for George, who was providing me with golf balls, I shot at least 10-15 strokes over my handicap and lost about 12 of George's golf balls. Sorry George! In the end, the Americans took the front nine and the match, and it was a draw on the back nine. We grabbed a quick bite and then headed over to the Ord Distillery on the Black Isle for a tour. The girls who had been sightseeing all morning were supposed to meet us, but the seal/dolphin tour they were on was running late, so we went on the tour without them. After the tour, it was back to our hosts for a quiet evening.
