In the morning, we walked to more historical places. The Freedom Trail is marked with red colored bricks on the sidewalk to follow. The places we visited were,
    - Boston Common and State House, the oldest public park in the USA. Cattle once roamed this park. We also went on the Swan Boats. These are the boats in the book " Make Way for Ducklings". I saw a swan chasing ducks.
    - Park Street Church, the song "America" was first sung here.
    - Granary and King's Burial Grounds, many famous people like Paul Revere, John Hancock, Samuel Adams are buried here.
    - Benjamin Franklin Statue and First School site, the school was started in 1635. Many famous people went to school here.
    - Old South Meeting School, where Samuel Adams decided to do the Boston Tea Party.

In the afternoon, we took a Charles River cruise on an electric boat. It goes 8 mph and can last for 13 hrs. It costs $1 a day to run. It was a very quiet ride. We went through locks and under train bridges which went up for our boat (see the attached videos). I also got to be boat captain for a few minutes ! The locks seperate the fresh water from the salt water. Because of the weather, there are lots of big jelly fish in the salt water. They can sting.

For dinner, we went to the Legal Sea Foods restaurant. They serve speciality clam chowder, salads, fish, chicken and vegetables. The clam chowder was served at a Presidential inauguration too.

We walked back to the hotel and visited a Maritime Musuem which showed the history of Battery Wharf.

I was tired and ready to zzzzzzzzzzzzz.
