From Grand Tetons we drove up to Yellowstone through the South Gate and banks of snow along the road and raging rapids through the gorges. The season has just begun here so lots of places were still closed. Realized that all the open campsites in the park have basic facilities so we drove through the West gate and stayed in the Grizzly Bear campsite - very organized thank goodness. Thiink that i am the only person using the bathroom. From there we spent 2 days exploring Yellowstone... All just so amazing. I can see that I am going to run out of adjectives on this trip as it is all pretty amazing. Lewis Lake was completely frozen over ((named after Lewis and Clarke I presume) and the snow markers were up to 4 meters high in places. Lovely Lodgepole and Pondorosa Pines around and we went across the Continental Divide a couple of times.
