Just a note to say thanks to all who have written comments - it's great to get them and we do read every one!
Our stay in Kenora has been wonderful.  We decided to camp out for a few days and settled in Anicinabe Park, which is in the city itself - that way we can bike to where ever we need to be.  Beautiful Lake of the Woods and free family fishing week in Ontario was all Jules needed to hear.  So we settled in.
You should have seen us all loaded up with fishing gear biking around town - we got plenty of looks.  About that biking... well it seems that everywhere we needed to be ended up being uphill!  After our successful fishing trip where we finally got one fish (after 3 days of fishing, I caught a 2 lbs.small mouth bass and didn't even know what kind it was!) - Jules thought that he would guide us back to our campsite along a biking path indicated on a sign.  Well in short time we were very lost and it seemed that everytime we turned a corner, we were facing another hill to climb.  Picture 6 bikes filled with fishing gear and hot sweaty people and Mercedes carrying a fish in her basket!  She did have a minor meltdown on the fifth to last hill(last meaning 25th hill) - but perservered!  (Michelle)

Through out the three days we stayed in Kenora, we had some wonderful encounters with the local wildlife. A couple of deer (White Tail Deer, we think) would routinely come to visit our campsite, at meal times! So the first time we saw them, the doe came up to the picnic table, and started to noes around in the bread bag. So Camden took out a piece of bread, and held it in his hand. She ate it right from there! She kept coming back, and hoping for another piece of bread. The doe was fearless, walking around the campsite. Hopefully we will be able to get that close to the wildlife again. -Mercedes

Hi Celina, it sounds like your trip is going good so far. We just looked at your photos.

Both of us and Emma C are doing a cooking camp this week. We have made dirt cake and pizza so far. Today we are going to make smoothie's and pancakes. It is lots of fun.
It has been raining lots here in Edmonton. Last night we went on the trampoline in our swim suits in the pouring rain. It was fun. We are eating potato chip sandwiches right now and Emma's mom is typing this because we are going to be late for our cooking class.

Salut la gang.
Beau travail Michelle - Score one for women's fishing lib.! Sounded like it was a long trek back - They say it's all about the journey, not the destination!
I like the picture of Chanel on the tandem. What's with the "baby" nickname?
Have fun
