(Pics up sometime soonish) The fest was over and man did it feel good to wake up naturally. I got an email from the Inside Out festival requesting an interview for their print traffic or print traffic assistant job - I applied for both. Did the interview, waited a few days, got the job. Got the print traffic coordinator job which means 3 months in Toronto. Was a judge in a cheesecake contest between David and Elizabeth. Unfortunately BOTH of them used alcohol in their cakes. :P So sad... The previous day I had made a key lime pie/cheesecake that I got off the internet and uh, risking tooting my horn I thought it was much better (however it WASN'T a cheesecake and I think D and E's plates would have been terribly fabulous had they left the alcohol out.) Who did I vote for? It's a secret....
Just before I left we saw Columbia/Chicago hero's Majong play at this stock auction place. It is owned by David's uncle and Christie and friends cleaned it up for it's first show
So I was sad to leave. I wasn't really ready. I was getting all use to living in Asia's room in the basement with it being so nice and warm and Simon visiting me every now and then. I was even thinking of taking Mary's room in June but now David's cousin is moving in instead. It'll be free in August. I wonder what I will be doing then?

Bullpen - Bobbi Con
. It's a really great space to see bands with "arena" seating (although not much space to stand and literally iron between the performers and audience.). See pics. It was a very fun show - all the kids came out...(But bloody hell they didn't open up the washrooms! I had a word with the organizers when I found out ;P ) The night before I left we had a little good bye diner just with the Ranch, Elizabeth (who I think is an honorary Ranch member by now. She does dishes and shit), Daniel and Mikey. Christie made spaghetti, I made chocolate caramel pecan buns and we went out for gelato at a place David kept hidden from me for some reason (perhaps because I might have eaten Columbia out of the cool smooth stuff had I known). Unfortunately I couldn't EAT dessert because I had too much pasta . Tres disasterous. Especially with flavors like caramel, grape, white/dark chocolate... Although , my heart is still with Sparky's - the downtown homemade icecream store that is across the street from the veggie restaurant that I baked at in November - who's vegan ginger is to die for. (the blueberry, cakebatter and mint chocolate chip, just to name a few, are fabulous too...) Sigh. So I was sad to leave. I wasn't really ready.
