so yeah... my first experience wasn't so hot. I went for a walk and within five minutes I got a "hey beautiful" (these comments, which I have not recieved in about 15 years, are terribly hilarious. I laughed out loud. What do guys expect girls to do? Turn around and go "ok stranger, let's get it on!") and a big dead cat on the sidewalk...
However there's a really yummy (but expensive) vegan caribbean place and the Wadsworth Gallery is a nice place to spend a few hours. There's some nice architecture like the old G. Fox building which use to be a nice big old department store...
Hartford is also close to Amherst and West Hampshire in Mass - and it was my first time in Massachusetts. Both those are college towns and had good record and bookstores.
Jeffrey and I did a lot of eating...
And I clogged every single drain in his apartment (with nothing god damn it!)...
And his cat Mrs. Cheng started going into heat when I arrived...
And I left my Sponge Bob Squarepants socks there :(
