"Well I'll be damned, here comes your ghost again..."
Been far too long since I took the time to write. I finished my last entry saying that we were going to head to the Blue Mountains. We did. Was great. Great place, great partying, great sites, and great to get out of Sydney...reminding me again why I'm traveling around the world and bringing back the symtpoms of my Itchy Feet disease.
I finished working at that last office (No more customer comments) and for a while became a man of leisure, noticeable by my improved tan. Days were generally spent chilling out, acting like a tourist (which I had yet to be in Sydney) and generally enjoying myself. I began to suffer from Non-Repetitive Strain Disorder, caused by not sitting in front of a computer screen for 8 hours a day but rather doing things that I find interesting
I had been hanging out with the 2 Danish guys next door, but they eventually left to go traveling. They were replaced by Lynn & Ed, along with Karen & Orla from back home, who were spending their days milling around Sydney before they headed off traveling too.
I contemplated "OPERATION: Get Mike & Al Fired" but decided against it.
I did end up getting another job for 2 days a week, which is enough to live on but not enough to save to head off in April...so I've been forced to take another full-time job starting next week. Data entry once again. Bummer, I know. But it's only for 3 weeks and then I hit the road.
It was good to have that time off though to see more of Sydney. Managed to do the Bridgeclimb (Walking over the top of Harbour Bridge) and a day trip around the vineyards in Hunter Valley with Al and the rest of his Seagull family.
Been a lot of changes in the house recently with people moving in and out
The partying of December and onwards has pretty much disappeared and Sydney is back to annoying me. There's a lot of festivals going on which helps to distract everyone from the fact that this place is a total hole. Looking forward to leaving. I saw 4 fights on Sunday night. Admittedly, most of the people involved were Irish. It seems like the biggest Irish assholes all come to Sydney and stay here. If you were wondering why it's so hard to get a '99 these days in Dublin, it's because all the flakes are over here.
[One interesing point: I've been traveling for over a year now. If I was on a round-the-world ticket I would be home by now.]

2 - Lynn in the Blue Mountains
. The consequences were a permanent smile on my face and a rapidly decreasing bank balance. I realised Ash & Lou were right: "Working is for losers."I had been hanging out with the 2 Danish guys next door, but they eventually left to go traveling. 3 - The Blue Mountains
. Tony has left, which sucks. A few Australians have moved in (directly from Fucked-up-ville, Canberra), but all those storys are for a different day. They replaced the Germans who were offering nothing in the way of banter. The partying of December and onwards has pretty much disappeared and Sydney is back to annoying me.
