"What's the point of bringing 3 weeks worth of pants when you're going away for over a year?"

A fair point by Mike, which I think sort of sums up the struggle I am currently going through trying to pack. What can I do without for a year or more? And what do I need to survive in Siberia which will also come in handy on a beach in Thailand? Is 'rolling' really better than 'folding'?
Packing my CDs is freaking me out. Why would anyone need more than 64 CDs? But what if I get a sudden craving to listen to 'What is love?' by Hadaway and find that I dismissed it as an album I'd never need?

We fly over to England tomorrow evening, where 9 of us will spend the weekend par-taying with some of my best mates over there Ri-Ra
Ri-Ra
. The 3rd Scriver Cup match will also take place.

Everyone then flies home and back to work (wha wha wha) while Mike and I fly on to Russia. We travel by Trans-Mongolian Railway across Russia, Mongolia and China. Then in to Hong Kong, Thailand and on to Australia. That's the current plan which is of course subject to change.

The last week has been fairly hectic....leaving work, saying goodbye to friends and relatives, and basically just trying to get everything sorted.

My work leaving doo in D2 was an 'emotional rollercoaster' (to use the words of Des). Thanks to everyone again for making it such a laugh. I've put on a couple of half decent photos on this site. If you haven't seen them already, Aoife (Ex-Equant, current Stig of the Dump) put her photos up here.

The other couple of photos are from our last official night out in Dublin. Thanks to all the millers and associate millers. Even The Shits turned out in numbers!

Right, well I obviously haven't got much news as I haven't left yet, but I needed a break from this McPacking, and I wanted to make sure this thing is actually going to work. I'm hoping updating this thing will be easier than group emails for me, and less annoying for people who really couldn't care less what I'm doing.

Actually going to go round to The Watermill for a last couple of pints with the mill now. Packing will have to wait.

What Is Love
I heard Hadaway's 'What Is Love' at the weekend.
