Bloomington has a level of culture that is somewhat haunting. It's easy to fall in love with the beauty of the sights and sounds, one might say it's intoxicating (to quote a friend). I met some incredible people while i was there, and was introduced to some new ways of thought and some interesting film and conversation. But i talk in generalities, more specifically i met Matt Maslanka and his fiance (who's name i don't want to misspell). These were truly some incredible people, and if they end up reading this i have to say thank you once again.

So i had a foriegn food that i've never had, talked about the world and the way things are, watched a 30 min film that blew my mind, and had some chicken for dinner. I was stimulated on a number of levels just by being at IU, and it's incredible. But in anycase, i can't say enough good things about the place and the people.

John Visel also rocks for hooking me up with a room.

I'm on the road to chicago, more news from there later.
