Day at Sea

Originally, we had planned for only one night on Phi Phi then make our way, via ferry, to Phuket. But the night before we decided to stay another night and rent a Long Boat for the day and go adventuring around some of the other islands (with Justin). With a few hours to spare before we went to get a boat we went to a beach Justin recommended. It was a very windy day so every once and a while you would need to cover your face from the sand.
Justin had talked with a driver yesterday when we were on the cruise and he said he would take us out for 800B. Today we had trouble finding a driver that would even take us, as it was very windy and the water was rough. We eventually found a guy who would take us, (he was not in view of the water when he agreed).
We went out to the smaller Phi Phi island, Phi Phi Lae, where we could snorkle. No wonder we had problems finding someone to take us today. The water was very rough, we got soaked, and our boat nearly flipped a couple times. Though it was not 5C like when we went boating with Henry back at home.
We did snorkleing in a few different bays around Phi Phi Lae for a couple of hours untill we got tired of it. Then we went to Monkey Beach. This was supposed to be on the itnerary of the Sunset Cruise yesterday but the monkeys were not out. We had some bread that we were feeding the fish with and the monkeys could smell it. Soon after we got off the boat, mackenzie was surrounded by monkeys.
Justin being afraid of monkeys kept his distance. They didnt seem to care much about me, nor my camera (though I still have some great shots). But they didnt like mackenzie all that much, and chased him into the ocean on a couple of occasions.
Our time with the Driver was coming to an end and the waves were getting even worse. We had him drop us off at Long Beach.
We watched this guy who was out of his mind on some drug for a bit, sat around talking, then made our way back to the hotel so we could get changed for dinner.
We had dinner, then everyone felt a bit out of it because we were out in the sun for the entire day. Justin and I went back (our rooms were next to each other) and mack stayed out. I gave Justin the paperback copy of my cousins book as I had just finished it earlier that day. And we both went to sleep.
I was awoken by mackenzie coming in what seemed to be only an hour later.
"What time is it?" I asked
"4:30" He said.
I didnt want to know.
