July 11th is finally here.

In just a few short hours I will be on a plane on my way over to the UK. I am flying on British Airways 10 hour, non-stop flight to Heathrow. This morning i found out that the same flight that left for England yesterday actually caught fire before they even took off. Brilliant.

Over the next couple of weeks, i will be keeping a blog of the events that take place while i am away. I will be constantly uploading videos and pictures also. While i am in the UK i will be unpacking all of the items that we put into storage when we moved to the United States in 2001, and deciding which ones to sell and which ones to keep. Maybe i will have an "Interesting Item of the Day" bit in my blog... we will see i guess :). I am very excited though, because there will be some very rare items found in the storage boxes including vintage guitars, records of my favorite artists, and lots of more cool finds, so stay tuned to see what crazy things i find.

We wont start the unpacking of the boxes until around Wednesday probably, because on Monday I am going to Paris for a couple of days! I have never been to Paris before so I am very excited about that.

Another thing that i am very excited about is the movie selection on the way over to the UK. On British Airways every passenger has his own screen to watch movies on. Even if you are just in world traveler, you get 12 channels of movies and TV shows to chose from! Crazy :) Anyway, a film i have been waiting for for a long time is going to be showing on the plane! It's called The Boat That Rocked, and it's directed by Richard Curtis. You can check out the trailer here. Its based on a true story too!

Anyway, that's all from me right now, folks. See you on the other side! :)
