Well our final day here today - so on the cable car up to Lombard Street which we walked down not up! very pretty area but wouldn't like to live there - people all over the intersection - yours truly among them taking photos - as well as apparently visitors will hire cars and line up for about an hour most days just to drive down it - takes about 60 seconds for the drive???

Then walked into downton San Francisco and had a look around before getting the cable car back to Fishermans Wharf and up to Ghiradeli Square to sample some chocolate and bought a little bit as well.

Then back down to Pier 39 to have a good look at the sea lions one in particular was putting on a good show - kept jumping up on the marina jettys where they are not allowed - the caretaker was following him around hosing him to get him off - looked like it was a game between them - then when he was up on the jetty another sea lion tried to get up as well and the first one went to the side and just sat there making these noises at him and shaking his head - like this is mine get your own - but then they were both shooed off.

Went to Boudins Bakery to have a look around and the lady there was horrified when I said I had never heard of it - apparently its world famous? Was really interesting to watch the whole production and they still use the same mother yeast or whatever its called as they did 150 years ago to keep the same flavour - which was delicious.

Thats it for here - off on our road trip to Vegas tomorrow - which should be interesting to say the least
