After a leisurely day - it was ready and out to Paradise Cove to the Luau - where the food was great, entertainment was exceptional, and a good night was had by all.
Bree, Ebony & Alisa all got up on stage to do the Hula, pity they were in the back row and couldn't get very good photos, and they all received certificates for their excellent work.
One girl was "drawn out as the winner of the lucky door prize", what she didn't know or what no-one was expecting, was that it was all set up by her boyfriend who then appeard on stage and proposed to her, to which thankfully she said yes, don't think there was a dry eye in the whole place
After this the MC invited all the couples in the audience to get up and dance while the lights were dimmed and the Hawaiian wedding song was played, to which Bree & Alisa got up and went and danced in the shadows???? - bit worried about those 2!
Great night at the Luau got my picture taken with some birds. One of the birds must have thought his dinner was hidden in my hair as he went looking for it and I had one photo with my hair stuck up at the side but they where nice photos any way.
Dinner was great broke the diet and had some pork as it smelt nice coming out of the pit, the chicken tasted like KFC but it was still nice, didn't go near the desserts as they looked nice but I knew I had pushed the diet boundaries enough with the main, don't think Sue wanted a vomitting room mate in the morning!
I wanted a souvener glass so Alisa very kindly drank an extra drink for me so I could have a glass too, such a kind girl.
Lovely friendly people at the Luau, I was taking a picture of the sunset when the man next to me was taking one of his wife I suggested I take one of them both they where so happy that I offered and the guy kepted telling me what a lovely accent I had, Americans seem to love Aussies
I have lost count of the amount of times they call out Aussie Aussie Aussie and we sing out Oui Oui Oui, when ever there is a group tour they love to hear the Aussies respond.
Great night missing having Mark to dance with when they played the song for the lovers in the audience.
Hi, Went with Bree Alisa & Eb today to the beach at the back of the war Museum and the girls hired a paddleboard and an aqua bike, talk about funny but they managed to stand for a short time spent a lot of time in the water hanging on to it , not good to stay on when Eb rammed into them with the aqua bike & knocks them off , I even tried to have a go on it but felt really unsteady & didn't want to risk hurting my hip so settled for a go on the bike which was a tandom but at one stage we squashed 3 onto it, didn't like it at that beach much because there was all smooth rocks on the bottom , made it very difficult to stand so I went to Waikiki, beautiful. That night we went to the Luau great night, great tour operator again, great entertainment very funny when Bree & Alisa got up for the wedding dance ( worry about them two ) the girls also got up for the hula lesson on stage with about another 30 people
Paddle boards and aqua bike-this was a fun day in the sun Rae, Alisa, Bree and Myself hired paddle board and aqua bike, Alisa and Bree started off on the aqua bike , me and mum started on paddle board yes i did stand up cause i am awesome and i do what i want, then we swooped we kept on running into Bree and Alisa, they kept on falling off suckers, then all 3 of us got on the paddle board which was fun, and we maneuvered the paddle board so Bree and Alisa couldget up onto the bike which was lucky they all fit and also lucky no one fell, but as we all quickly relised it was more like a gym session.
Luau- was amazing and the blokes mmmmmm YUMMY!!!!!!!the entertainment was great , food was tasty , allot of hands on . would do it again in a heart beat and hey girls we were the hottest bus....!!!!!!!
Another Hilarious day! i must say tho, we are a talented bunch, three of us on the paddle board - I think we did pretty good with that. But yes the very first time i fell off, took a big gauge out of the front of my leg, there were all sharp rocks on the bottom - no sand!! The water was gorgeous, And i was very happy that i wasnt the whitest person on the beach....hehehe
